Deep Expertise, Practical Solutions
ChainOptix partners with governments, donors, and communities to close the gaps that hold programs back. Across every sector we serve, we bring frontline experience and locally driven solutions designed to deliver results, fast.
Challenges we address
High infection rates among vulnerable populations; poor linkage to treatment services; treatment interruption and silent transfers among people living with HIV; and limited local capacity to manage the health response.
How we help
- Deliver structural, behavioral, and biomedical HIV prevention for adolescents and young people, including evidence-based approaches such as Coaching Boys Into Men.
- Support the Ministry of Health and civil society organizations to provide key-population-sensitive programming — guidelines, sensitivity training, and awareness of available services.
- Strengthen quality HIV testing across modalities (index, social-network, and mobile testing), with mentorship on hotspot mapping to reach populations at highest risk.
- Facilitate linkage to care — ART for clients who test positive, and prevention services (PrEP, VMMC, condoms) for those who test negative — and help develop SOPs for effective community-to-facility linkage.
- Link returning-to-care clients with community case managers and educate communities on patient-transfer processes to reduce interruption.
- Build the capacity of community organizations and traditional leaders to manage health resources, address harmful practices, and apply for investment.
Challenges we address
Limited access to quality reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition services; persistently high malaria transmission driving outbreaks, anemia, and child mortality; and limited knowledge and skills in continuous quality improvement (CQI) methods.
How we help
- Strengthen facility coverage of RMNCAHN services and build workforce capacity through ongoing mentorship and onsite technical assistance.
- Intensify community engagement through community health workers, Safe Motherhood Action Groups (SMAGs), and traditional leaders to promote antenatal care, skilled delivery, and immunization.
- Strengthen facility case management of simple and complicated malaria, and expand integrated Community Case Management (iCCM) through wider CHW coverage and supportive supervision.
- Reinforce community-based malaria prevention (LLINs, IRS, mass drug administration, IPTp) and strengthen real-time surveillance through DHIS2.
- Build CQI teams at provincial, district, and facility levels using practical tools — PDSA cycles, root-cause analysis, run charts — and institutionalize CQI within routine facility meetings and supervision checklists.

Challenges we address
Inefficient quantification and forecasting that drive over- and under-stocking; sub-optimal warehousing and distribution; and fragmented last-mile delivery across multiple transport modes.
How we help
- Stand up a control-tower structure with monthly performance dashboards, and convene focused reviews of product categories, forecast accuracy, distribution records, national inventory, and morbidity rates.
- Lead monthly supply chain performance reviews, using ABC/VEN analysis to prioritize the critical products that keep health-delivery targets on track.
- Run supply chain maturity assessments with modern tools, then revise SOPs and build capacity — including at hubs — and configure core systems (WMS, eLMIS, patient-management tools) with the right access levels.
- Optimize last-mile distribution through private-sector partnerships for high-quality, low-cost service, real-time visibility via electronic proof of delivery (ePOD), and fit-for-purpose vehicle and equipment maintenance strategies.
Challenges we address
Inadequate human resources for health and reliance on informal providers; weak integration of services at facility and community level; insufficient sustainability planning; limited government ownership of donor-funded electronic systems; and inefficient performance-monitoring systems that fail to integrate data with programmatic understanding.
How we help
- Optimize the existing health workforce and support national strategies, engaging local resources and the private sector to fill gaps, strengthening district mentorship teams, and decentralizing specialist training to reach rural communities.
- Support revision and rollout of the Primary Health Care Strategy, with task-sharing and provider training to deliver integrated services.
- Bring deep sustainability-planning expertise to national roadmaps and health-workforce transition plans.
- Help governments take full ownership of electronic systems — health records and commodity management — through strategy development, training, and structured change management.
- Strengthen performance monitoring with training on national data systems and monitoring, evaluation, and research guidelines, and help organizations turn data into insight for decision-making.
